Clearwater Beach, Tampa, Florida is one of the best places spots in Florida. Honestly, I been to so many fish spots in Florida areas but none of them are like the Clearwater beach. The place itself is gorgeous weather you want to go during day or at night. The fishing area is located right next to the beach. The government also made a beautiful walking bridge and you can fish right under the bridge. The water is clear and you wouldn't need to worry about getting your hook stuck in the stones since the water is clear and deep.
Some of the fishes that I caught over the years are black drum, king mackerel, spanish mackerel, barracuda, bonito, grouper, snapper, cat fish, lady fish and amberjack.
There is also a 24/7 food stand right next to the fishing spot. Whether you are hungry for a meal, coffee or even to buy bait you can stop by the food stand. I must say they have delicious food and quality baits. There's also a huge parking area for boat and cars. Many people bring their boat with them since it is better to use a boat to fish. I was actually more successful fishing from the boat then shore. You can also rent boats from the boat rentals 5 minutes drive from the actual fishing spot.
